Quilt Submissions

Quilters will enter all quilts, including challenge quilts, via an online form by September 6, 2024. Quilts will be delivered to the Monroe County Convention Center on Thursday morning, October 3, 2024. Exact times be announced later.

Except for challenge quilts, all submitters must be Bloomington Quilt Guild members with 2024/2025 dues paid by date of submission.

We ask that members show quilts completed in the last 3 years and that quilts have not been shown in previous Quilts from the Heartland quilt show.

All quilts should include a hanging sleeve and a permanent label with the quilters name and the name of the quilt as specified on the entry form. Your quilt should be delivered in a bag with a clear label. Many people will use a pillow case.

Quilts will be picked up from the convention center the evening of October 5, 2024. Exact times to be announced later.

Challenge quilts may be dropped off at the Unraveled Quilt Store but must be received by September 28, 2024. Those quilts may also be picked up from the store after the show. Be sure to specify that on the quilt form so your quilt will be returned properly.

If you cannot pick up your quilt in person, please designate the person who will be picking up your quilt.

Eileen Fry won the Nola King Award for Excellence in Hand Quilting and Piecing. The award is judged by the show chairs and is in honor of a long-time guild member who has passed.
